This was an excellent buy (and I got it for the higher price of [price]!!).The price can't be beat for the quality.The kettle sings loudly when ready and the lid comes off for easy cleaning.It's durable and nice looking as well.I've bought other kettles I haven't been nearly as happy with and they cost more.And there is no enamel to chip off like those "fancy" kettles often have. One great feature this kettle can claim is a very smooth pouring action--no dribbles and drips.
