On a scale of One to ten, I would rate it at a nine only because the cord doesn't always retract itself and I occasionally have to do it manually.The key is to hold the lid down firmly with one hand during the entire 'pull and spin' process.The little rubber stops on the bottom are a great asset so your spinner doesn't move all over the counter and it spins my greens perfectly dry.I am using it so often, it's not worth the effort of putting it away in a cupboard until next time and it is enabling me to buy the heads of lettuce (which are the least expensive way to go) rather than buying Bag-o-Salad at the grocery store, and saves me the expense of paper towels to dry my greens and quite a bit of time in meal prep.Because I now have this item, I am already finding we are eating more salad than ever before because it is not a hassle to make one anymore!
